Abrasive blasting

Restore your possessions back to their original beauty

Abrasive blasting is the process of forcibly propelling a high-pressure stream of abrasive material against a surface in order to:

  • smooth a rough surface
  • roughen a smooth surface
  • remove surface contaminants such as:
  • dirt
  • rust
  • scale.
  • paint

After we finish blasting or preparing the surface we either leave it in its raw state for the customer to complete to the desired finish or we continue by sealing the newly exposed item with:

  • undercoat or primer in wet paint or powder coat, then
  • top coat painting either by wet paint or powder coating*.

*We generally recommend powder coating as the paint is usually a harder finish and less labour intensive so more cost effective.
